My first time seeing Koalas and Kangaroos. Lone Pine Sanctuary is one of those places we always take our friends and families whenever they come to visit us in Australia. It is located at Fig Tree Pocket and it’s very accessible. These photos were taken on my very first visit. Since then, we would drive anyone to this place as part of our visitor’s itinerary.

It’s always fun to see all these wildlife especially the ones that are endemic to Australia. They have these scheduled shows about predatory birds, snakes and of course, the koalas. You can also go in and feed the Kangaroos and Sheep. But the one that really fascinated me were the sheep shearing. Yes. Getting the wool from a sheep is just fascinating. It was so simple and traditional yet it is still practiced up to these days.  And my other personal favorite were the sheepdogs. I’m a dog person and seeing these sheepdogs working is just so awesome.
