irst stop on our way to Stanthorpe, we went to Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm. It’s about 60 minutes away from Brisbane. It’s not as big as other lavender farms we’ve visited. But still very beautiful and picturesque place. On top of the hill is the restaurant serving French food, wine, and a shop for lavender products.
The whole setup seems like it is designed to be a tourist/event destination, rather than a farm. Would have been better if it was grapes season but we still had a great time. There were wallabies just hanging around the vineyards. That got the kids excited. Alright. Fine, it got me excited too.
After some photos, we bought some stuffs then we had a quick afternoon tea. Next destination – Queen Mary Falls.
