Wherever you are, we can all agree that we are now living in a crazy world with the emergence of Covid-19. It’s not like the world has never seen global health crisis though. It’s just hard to imagine that this is happening now with all the advancements we have.

But this is the new normal now.

It’s been a couple of months since lockdown rules have been imposed all over the world. Here in Australia, I’m always cautious but I’m not really very worried. Not in a “panic mode”. Honestly, I am more concerned for the Philippines. In here, we are still able to do normal things as we usually do. We go shopping for essential goods. Essential services go to work. Most people are working from home (but they are still working). It’s the hospitality industry that really took a hit And like everywhere else, economies are going down. But when it comes to managing the pandemic, the numbers here are looking much better.

My thoughts are on the people in the Ph living on paycheck to paycheck and had to stop work. Specially in the areas of Manila. In the provinces, I would say, they should have a better situation (at least, in my province of Cagayan Valley). It is easier to track people coming in and out of towns. And you don’t rely too much on commercial goods. Most are produced in their own backyard (like for my father). :)

Either way, we all wish for all this to be over sooner.
